Pipe plug devices NPF VOSTOKneft Shutter, Shutter-M, etc.
The “Shutter” devices are designed for temporary plugging of the open ends of pipes, lashes, as well as "dipped" valves, taps and tees during their hydraulic tests. The use of the proposed devices is an alternative to such unproductive operations as: welding of plugs, cutting them after hydro-testing, re-preparation of the edge for welding. When using devices, the productivity of work increases, their labor intensity decreases.
The devices are fixed on the pipe by means of wedging mechanisms on the outer surface of the pipe, and sealing - by means of rubber seals on the inner surface. There is a fitting in the devices for feeding the pressure fluid.
